In practice, it is a social enterprise which comes in to bridge the gap for actionable research driven development solutions. While consultancy work is usually deemed as events in phases of an institution or project, N & C Consultants Limited looks at consultancy work as an important process which pervades all phases from conceptualization to completion and beyond. While consultancy work is usually done when hired by an organization, N & C Consultants Limited looks at consultancy work as an on-going process moved by prevailing conditions which need evidence based creative solutions.

As an actor in development, N & C Consultants Limited does not only wait to be engaged to carry out studies; but as a social enterprise it also initiates the identification of challenges and proposing solutions that can be transformed into programmes and projects.
